OK Allen, I'm ready to come down and help you this weekend. You gonna be working on it either Sat or Sun. I will bring my ramps and we can test load it, I can also bring my RZR. I want to see how bad the ass end of that thing sags. Mine is getting loaded in front of the axle. The heck with calling shotgun in the truck, I'm calling it for the trailer.

Rebar will be alot of welding. I'm interested in seeing that. 1/2" is pretty thick - wonder how much it will bend. There used to be a guy in Newton NC selling industrial shelving - that was fairly cheap and strong but I can not locate any info so he must be out of it.

Rebar can add structural strength if in the right spots. I like it. Allen, I plan on coming down this Sat or Sun. What day do you want some help.

The cross members are two ft apart #4 virtuly no bend at two ft #3 bends at two ft rebar will weigh six hundred # on deck. Expanded metal have to weld too. Five quarter board boy a Loy of drilling and bolting down I can spot weld rebar quicker I think and easier

Hey my Rzr ain't being towed. Worst case I will park it on top of Bob and your rzr's.
600 lbs of rebar for the total deck is light. That's great. Also gives me good spots to chain my rzr wheels to. I would agree that welding is quicker and better than screwing boards down. I have never had luck with the boards not breaking the bolts/screws.
Wish I could make it to help ya'll. My daughter has the State 2A Soccer Playoff's in Raleigh Saturday and Senior Graduation awards at Church on Sunday.
Put some extra welds on that rebar where my rzr will go. I'd hate to see it fall off in Kansas at 3am. Probably would not realize until 7am the next morning.

Boy there has already been a Lot of welding deck ican get to without layin on back upside down getting burnt by sparks.
