I seem to remember some of you loading a few RZRs sideways years ago for a cross country trip. Do any of you who have shorter machines still do this and have you ever had any trouble with the law? I am considering doing this for my WV trips. In my normal group we have a 1000s, a 900s, and an 800s all of which aren't too terribly long and could easily be loaded sideways on my trailer. I could fit two of those machines sideways and my KRX on straight but it's not worth it if I end up getting hit with a big fine just for saving a dollar or two on fuel.
I feel like the state troopers wouldn't bother me but it would sure suck if they did. Might also help to barely offset the overhang to the right side so it doesn't look as bad to oncoming traffic.

I have a 900S and I took the front bumper off. I am about 106", 4" over the legal limit. Have hauled it that way several times out west with no issues.

Thanks guys, I don't think the law would bother me as long as the machine that is sideways is one of the S series or trail series rzrs. Still not sure it's worth the risk just for the drive to WV. Now once you start talking about driving across the country, that's a lot of saved money in fuel when you can get an extra machine on the trailer.
