Yesterday I posted the comment below on FB. It was a sarcastic joke which a lot of people did not get. A lot did. There is a guy named MudMan that for a fee promotes businesses. Yesterday he got Outlaw Bar and Grill to put the MudMan Burger on theeir menu and he flooded FB with it. He tries to get free lodging, food and gas.
"I would like your opinions. My map which has been downloaded 10's of thousands of times has 80 eating establishments, 90 lodging establishments, and 58 gas stations. In order put these on my maps should I ask for free food, free lodging and free gas. Sarcasm

Your maps are insanely popular. I really think you should get everything free in WV and other states that use your maps.
Food, tires, gas, and accommodations (rooming and female companionship).

If a restaurant, hotel, gas station asks you to put a waypoint on your map in exchange for something free, go ahead and do it.

I think is great the way you provide the maps and other assistance to the riding community and I understand your reservations about charging a fee or expecting something in return. However, there are numerous people that would like to do something for you to compensate for your time and experience. I suggest you let the club set up a Go Fund me account so people can make donations to you. You can use the funds however you like, but I feel it will make people happy to know that they are contributing something for your maps, especially the businesses in West VA that benefit from your maps.

Ditto, great idea Davy

I was going to post that anyone that feels the need to do something for Bob... “Just go buy the best bottle of Scotch and drop it off at the “Hilltop restaurant” with a thank you note.” He would never have to buy another bottle again!

Bob, it is amazing how your maps have made such a positive difference is peoples WV ride experiences. You have brought many smiles to peoples faces. Also, kept many people from getting lost forever on some trail in the back woods. Thank you.
