Hatfield Trails Still Closed – But I found a place to Go

I have not set dates yet but pricing listed below is good through end of June
There is room for 14 of us total with a side by side each. It will be quite cheap as you shall see.

We will need to leave from Smith Reynolds Airport in Winston Salem. (as you know commercial flights are currently grounded)

Our Itinerary:

Day 1:
Load our side by sides and board the Coronavirus Cargo Plane (courtesy of the Chinese Government) Our cost for the round trip is $ 12.84 each US currency

Day 2:
Land in Shanghai China late. We will be staying at the “Love Me Longtime” Best Western hotel. Our cost is $ 7.48 for a standard room & $ 11.83 for a suite (US currency). Tipping the girls is suggested and STD’s are complimentary along with raw fish breakfast buffet.

Day 3:
Our side by sides will be loaded on transport trucks along with us (Compliments of the Chinese Government) and we will travel to the City of Wuhan. It will take all day to get there and we will be staying in the “Wuhan Wet Market” Hyatt. This Is where we will stay for the week of riding. Our cost is $ 14.75 per night and all rooms are suites. The stay includes a Breakfast buffet with assorted Wet Market specialties including the famous Bats (Yum Yum).

Day 4 – 8:
Each day Government guides will take us out to trails where we will see all the sights the area has to offer. We will get to enjoy the stench of the Bat caves, see local peasants working dawn to dusk, get harassed by Military patrols asking for our Papers and experience the rugged trails (which are their main roads). Each day we will attend a Government Propaganda Show telling us how great Socialism and universal Health care is for any Country. We will also get to take Selfies with President Xi.

Day 9-11:
Will be a return to the US the same way we came.

So post up with Dates that work for each of you so we can pick one.

As I am currently working on updating wills and related documents I guess this sounds okay. The way things look we are going to get the Coronavirus now or later - possibly this fall. I would suggest going in June as vacationing here is unlikely, and Hatfield MoCoy will probably still be closed. It will certainly be educational.

I spent 3 days in Wuhan in DEC 2018. To be honest it was very nice. Don’t let the US Media make you think the rest of the world is a zoo.

Sometimes the monkeys in the zoo think their reality is the real world. They are just looking from the wrong direction. Just saying that US news has a lot of bias. I didn’t realize it til I was traveling in 2014. I was at the corner of Jordan near Syria and Iraq. I mentioned the fighting and the locals said “it’s been like this for 20 years - the US Govt and Media makes it seem worse so they can spend money”. I now think there was some truth to that.
