I emailed the Kingman Police Chief asking where we could park trucks and trailer for a week and he put me in touch with the head of Parks & Rec who told me where we could park in a P&R parking lot. It is only a 1/2 mile off the AZPT trail and near the hotels. I have attached a picture.

Pic below is of the email response I got from the Kingman Police Chief regarding having a license plate to ride in Kingman. I have also emailed the Yuma Police Chief.

Brilliant Nelson. Great idea. Now, how do we communicate with each other? I have a SPOT which provides location information and pre-programmed messages. We won't have cell service in remote areas. Does anyone own a satellite phone?

I just maybe interested in going. I would have about 19 ft left on my big trailer after my sxs on it. Probably room for one sxs and two dual sport motorcycles.

Bob, can we throw some dates on here and have people vote so we can lock in a date. I think most that want to go need to know its going to work with their work calendar and schedule.

I agree. Looking at the temp graphs it appears spring is the best time to go, it does not cool down until Oct. I talked to Larry and we don't care. It looks pretty even. I now looks like April is the best month. I think Tom is the only one with an issue. Let everyone chime in on a month and then we can pick the week. FunTreks has been following my post on RZR forum and would like to ride with a couple of days if schedules align. They are making a book on the AZPT. We have communicated over the years.

OK, let's narrow down the week. Select your week at the link below. I have added April, you can add additional week choices. Pick a week

Like Bob said I am out for an April ride as I have conflicting events. But I see that is the best temp time. If you all decide to do in Sept. I would prefer 2nd or third week.

I just filled in my information... I am only 25% ... I know I would love traveling and riding with this gang but not wild about driving or flying that far, changing hotel rooms every night and riding rocky and dusty trails for a week.....

Nelson you must have a lot of free time to set around and think all that up . Good job . That's funny! Actually, I am painting which is a mindless task so I think a lot. Also, I laid awake last night and thought about the trip. Also, I see that Larry used the word "brilliant"...I've never seen that word used in the same sentence as "Nelson"

I'd like to add another week for consideration: March 29 - April 4. It avoids Easter entirely and is a little less hot.
Later in April it can get pretty hot and dusty.

David B, I know that you have a lot of boob jobs to get done before bikini season. I have plenty of time on my hands and I will gladly help you handle things.

Ok, I've been following this and to me it's getting confusing, if I go what do I have to do to be legal to ride.

I read that thread, but I'm still a little confused. Matt says that if we ride the AZPT loop, we'll be fine with just the OHV permit/sticker. Then he implies in another reply that if riders go to hotels/gas stations, etc. that we'd need to be plated and street legal. I assume that anyone riding the entire loop will need to get off for gas, food and lodging; so, isn't a plate and street legal required for everyone that rides the entire loop and needs some or all of those services?
