Not sure if any of you know but I just was told Gun Carry is permitted on the trails now. Below is form their website today:
Firearms are allowed. If the firearm is a handgun for personal protection, then you can carry it concealed or unconcealed, loaded or unloaded, whether you have a concealed carry permit or not. If it is a long gun that you are using for hunting purposes and are traveling on the Trail System to get to a hunting location, it must be unloaded and cased while on the Trail System. No hunting is allowed from or on the Trail System itself.
WV had passed a Law allowing concealed carry without a permit so I guess the trial rules changed .......
Nice to know many of us will be legal now

Concealed carry without a permit. The NRA has done good work there.

Permit-less carry or what is often referred to as "Constitutional carry" is legal in something like 16 or 17 states now, WV being one of them. Its on the docket to be debated in NC too.

Permit-less carry sounds really good. I let my concealed carry expire (man that 5yrs went fast) since I did not pay attention to the date. I'm for permit-less carry since that will stop me from just hanging my 380 from my rear view mirror by a string. Kept sliding off the dashboard and got hot from sun shining on it. I figure that hanging is not concealed and it looks cool. Why hang dice from a mirror when you can hang a cool looking loaded gun?

If you can tax it you can regulate it. I think the concealed carry permit system is a bad idea. The classes for legal info are worthwhile.

Did you hang it by the trigger?

Not trigger but I hang by a large rubber band around long direction of slide. That way a big bump loads a round. Auto loaded!!

I'm not sure if you can be a resident of Nc and conceal carry in Wv without a permit. Don't know the code so I'm certain someone will prove me wrong. I'm good either way, va and wv have reciprocity with my nc permit that looks like it came out of a gum ball machine.
