Anybody got thoughts...Good, Bad, or Indifferent, about the Arctic Cat Wildcat 1000 SxS?? There's a really good deal on one I've found and just asking for opinions /feedback on them...I used to own an '08 Arctic Cat 700 ATV and had good luck with it, when I owned it. Let me know, please....??

The wvsxsriders group used to have a few in the rides. They had great suspension but took an acre to turn and had engine -mainly bottom end. They never overheat so that was a positive.
It's rare to see them now. Most of the Wildcat owners from Wvsxs have a Rzr or teryx now.

Bottom end of engine issues was somewhat common is what I meant.

A good deal on a 2012 Wildcat 1000 would be $7000 or less.

The length and width is not an issue.

I'm sure you know this but all machines have issues. I say get what you like best and learn how to work on it and enjoy riding it. The old style machines did not have so many things to break. I like the Artic Cats looks, check out the forums. lots of good info out there.

So, with some front suspension &/or steering mods, wonder if it would be worth buying and correcting those issues?

I looked at them myself since I had an Arctic Cat 650 H1 that was a good ATV. The Wildcat steering is fairly easy to fix -- $20 to redrill holes in knuckle or $600 to buy the Wildcat 4seater knuckles. That fixes steering. The motor issues were potluck and random. Rzr's have issues too (I know better than anyone).
I would say at $7k it's a good deal. They do ride really good.

Yeah, that's what originally grabbed my attention is their looks...I always thought they were the best looking SxS's out there, even years ago (+ Lower center of gravity, lessens roll-over chances). Just was wanting to get others "more in the know" than me, opinions on them, before I trade my '05 Honda Rincon TRX650 + cash in on it, if the owners interested in that deal-E-O!? We'll see...
