Ken -- How far do you have to Hilltop from your home when riding the Dual Sport? Straight interstate/shortest route is about 170. Taking the "backroads" adds about a 100 miles to that.

270 miles of backroads -- better have a good seat. My 300 miles 2 weeks ago sitting on a cinder block still makes my azz sore thinking about it. My new seat goes on tonight...

Mark just PM'd that he has a DRZ400. Looks like we need to have a good TTB Dual Sport ride in WV!

I'm tied up this weekend but definitely want to go before long. Finally took the Motorcycle Road Test today. Fun stuff. Those are some tiny cones. Also got me a nice Joe Rocket riding jacket today. Crazy that it must have 40 zippers for being worn one of 20 ways. It's a summer or winter jacket with 3 types of liners and full arm and back hard pads. Ken tried to scare me talking about road rash and I hated the thought of scuffing my nice arms and chest....

You should see Wendy and Nick, they went down last weekend, both are very lucky. I've started wearing my jacket even if its hot.

Lonnie -- How is Wendy? I have wondered all week. I assumed she was OK since you rode last Sunday.

Lonnie -- How is Wendy? I have wondered all week. I assumed she was OK since you rode last Sunday. She is doing better, some of the areas have started getting infected but med's will take care of that. Her hand is looking at lot better for sure. Apparently she grabbed the exhaust on the truck while she was under it. Both are very lucky not to have more injuries. They had on tee shirts and short pants. Yeah I know, really dumb huh. Thanks for asking.

Put me some "Ride-On Tire Sealant and Balancer" in the new rear Ultra Heavy Duty Tube. That stuff is highly rated and I hope will stop any worries about flats. I gotta admit it's good. It kept clogging the clear 1/4" tube that was provided for installation. It's a liquid but much denser than slime. Ride-On Tire Balancer and Sealant - 8oz. - M/C 41208 www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0016680T0/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00Ordered a new Michelin Ultra Heavy Duty Tube for the front now. I'll install it and a new tire (already have) then put 8oz of Ride-on in the front tube also. I figure that should be good insurance....
