I only rode Saturday July 21 so I'll post that.
Left out of Hilltop around 9:30. Carver, Ken, Larry, Allen, and myself headed to Sophia. Nothing new but craved some good Chinese food. After a calm slow ride we arrived in Sophia around 1pm. Stuffed our belly's and headed back. Stopped a few times to chat about world events and other good stuff. Arrived back at Hilltop around 6:30pm.
It was a good ride. Approx 100 miles with no issues other than my getting a flat in Bud on the way back. That's what I get for going up a trail that said Keep Out. I thought it just meant behind the signs... Oh well -- live and learn.
Great Weather, Great Ride, and Good Conversation. I'm now ready for Utah!!

Sounds like alot of fun. Hopefully some people want to ride this coming weekend so I can put some more miles on before it starts getting cold.

Hey I was wondering about the trail/road conditions from Hilltop to Sophia. Is it mostly gravel roads or is it hard paved surface? I've been as far as Bud and the Jenkins cemetary trails, but never Sophia. Thanks. By the way this is my first post on here. Me and a good friend of mine have campers near you TTB guys on Carols property. I have the piece of crap PopUp while my buddy has the FEMA camper with the shelter over top of it. Nice website and a cool little club you guys have got! Wish we had something like this in VA.

Brian the path to Sophia is a mix of trail and gravel. It is mapped on our gps units along with a few hundred miles of outlaw and Hatfield /McCoy trails. Thats one of the cool things about the TTB club , ongoing mapping of the area.

I have the maps that BobT puts online and they have been a huge help for me cause I am geographically stupid as they come.
