The ride this weekend was attended by Tim H, Dillon H, David B, Mark S, Derrick W, Lonnie W and T Ramsey. We rode 80 mi Sat in excellent weather. We went north of the BP/Subway in Mullens to areas new to us. Sun the weather was mixed rain and snow depending which side of the mountain we were on. We did 50 miles taking the Indian ridge trails to the connector to Tiny's then back by the bypass of the creek trail. There was easily 4" of wet snow at Hilltop when we left at 2 pm. My drive home was the scariest part of the weekend. Good trails , good friends. Lets do it again!

Thanks for the great hospitality David! The whole weekend was great!
If we would have left another hour or 2 later... It might have been real fun leaving the mountain!!!
The trails behind the BP where pretty awesome. There were a few dead ends but there also was some real sweet trails with alot more possible trails... We saw alot of turn off that time kept us from exploring.
Hopefully I will be headed back up in 2 weeks.

Ok -- if you did lots of explorin you should have seen the "Panty Tree" in the trails above Mullins. The tree has several pairs of panties hanging on it. It is where there are banked dirt hills with a small race track type area going over and around the piles. I think they used to race figure 8's on ATV's in that area....

Randy, only you would find a "Panty" tree. We did not see it either, you must have collected them. Thank God Roger cut the apple tree down.
Mark, go look at the "Jan 28" ride report thread and you will see where we rode up above Mullens. I assume you guys rode some of the same ones. There is a trail that takes you back into HMPC-11 and lets you make a loop of it. As you said, there are several more trails that we have not ridden.

You gotta be escorted by the Mullins Chamber of Commerce to see the Panty Tree. Allen and Carver saw it also...
Last time I was in that area I missed it and I also missed the old mine. The mine is interesting since they left the electrical boxes there 30+ years ago...
