Ok my throttle happy self has about worn my rear big horns down to nothing so I am going to start tire shopping now while they still have a few hundred miles left in them.
The tires I am currently looking at are all in the 400-450 range for a set as that is realistically as much as I am willing to pay for tires.
With that price range and the fact that I want them in 26x9x12 and 26x11x12 I have three choices, duro powergrips, gbc dirt commanders, or interco reptiles.
I know the duro's are bighorn clones that seem to review well and are also the cheapest of the three.
The dirt commanders seem like some pretty gnarly tires with their 8ply rating, but they also seem to run small and are the most expensive option, but sure look cool.
Lastly the reptiles, their aren't too many reviews out there for these. What little I have read seem to indicate they are good tires, but I am looking for any opinions you guys have on these options.
Thanks

Hey Michael I'm running the Grim Reapers from GBC and love them. I got them from here: www.motoxmall.com/ Good prices and fast "Free" delivery.

Hmm now I am stuck in grim reaper or dirt commander. I REALLY like the flat profile of the dirt commanders, but the reapers look like they'd put up with mud better.

I had the Reapers, they are an awesome tire that works great on the trails and in the mud.

Now I am annoyed at the fact that they don't make reapers in 26x9x12 and 26x11x12

One of the things I'd want with a solid rear axle is a radial. I'd think it would help with ride and traction.

Now I am annoyed at the fact that they don't make reapers in 26x9x12 and 26x11x12 I had the 10's and 12's on mine and had no issues. They are a great tire and they would be great on your Prairie 700.
