I know i'm new and all and havent become a member yet but i thought maybe someone could answer a possibly dumb question for me..I recently bought a new Grizzly 700 and noticed that the exhaust coming out of the front turns bright red from the heat..this kind of concerns me and i know it is titanium which is suppose to be able to handle the heat better than before but what happens when this pipe suddenly hits a cold mud hole or snow even...the older pipes might crack with the instant temp change but has anyone ever had issues like this...my other four wheeler which is a 450 has old style pipes and didnt turn as red but i was just curious...anyway thanks for any info if any and look forward to the upcoming meeting....

Mike -- you know the only dumb question is the one not asked!!! -- however I cannot help you since I have a Can Am now and a Suzuki before that and never had an issue with exhaust piping
But several club members are Grizzly owners and am sure they will post up -- and stop by one of our meetings and join -- its only $20 per year for you and your family -- we meet the 3rd Tuesday of each month at the Golden Corral in Winston Salem -- the Hanes mall location at 6:30 pm --- Hope to see you there

The pipe will be fine. I have seen Honda's turn a bright purple from heat. The color changing will stop as it breaks in. Also once you cover it with WV mud you will only see brown pipes. Enjoy the Grizzly!

yeah i have a 700 grizzley . just come to wv with us and you won't even think about that pipe. you'll be thinking about the seat and handle bars. (how you are clinging to them.) never had any issuses with my pipes 3200 miles.
