Seven of us rode the outlaw trails, Tom D, Randy R, Allen S, David K, Michael P, Nelson B and myself. There are now 165 mi on the new 550 Yama. Power steering is awesome! We went to the view since David K had not been there. We went to Mullens by an unmarked connector since logging has closed traill 11 connector. We went to Welch and had KFC. See Randy's post in members only for the Welch ride info. (A tough learning experience) It was very handy to have radios for rider to rider contact. Sunday Tom and I rode some H/M trails till noon. Ashland resort still has some cabins for the 4th if anyone wants to go.

Power steering bikes are taking over. I'll admit after riding trail 98 in Pinnacle Creek I was wanting one myself. I did learn that trail 94 at Pinnacle Creek just keeps getting better. Allen and myself made it half way up before turning around -- we had one member that's NEW Grizzly decided it wanted to go uphill on only 2 wheels so trail 94 had to wait. Next time I want to go back to 94...
Riding Friday was perfect -- damp trails with moderate temps.

Here's a couple of pics of Micheal P. in a mudhole. Bob needs to give him some guidance on mud riding. The postive is that with the Popo he rarely needs help -- it's much more fun to ride with Micheal without the previous Warrior hassles. Micheal gives that 500 a workout -- that's definitely shown when he uses a tank of gas from Welch to Hilltop. There was several times we would look and there was Micheal in a mudhole. I like it -- it was fun to watch. As a side note I am really glad Hilltop has Tom and Larry as camper co-owners. It's good to see as many TTB'rs as we can get at Hilltop! And one of a Beautiful Can-am in front of a mountain Chateau...

Well this is for all the Can Am riders to puff their chests up about -- My first ride on the new bike and ......
Friday - Can Am had to pull David K & his Honda out of a Mud hole
Saturday - Can AM had to pull MIchael P & his Polaris out of a mud hole
Feeling real good about my choice in Bikes -- at least for now ----
