So I finally went to address why my trailer lost its brakes. Kept getting a trailer fault message when applying the brake peddle. Took the first tire off and a dead Mole fell out of the inside of the wheel?? Then pulled the drum off and found I had the entire brake adjustment parts completely loose and have been rattle around inside the drum. All this time I thought the rattling noise was just the safety chains. Took off the next tire on same side and both wires were cut 1" from the magnet. Still waiting on some quality bearings I ordered. Nobody stocks nothing but Chinese crap anymore. Attachments:

Does both axles have brakes? If so it will be interesting to know how other axle looks.

yes, brakes on all 4 tires. The 2 that were shot were on the same side. Other side was ok other than dirty and someone mixed different types of grease so had to clean that all out. Will be nice to have the trailer brakes back when coming back over Fancy Gap.

I have a problem with squirrels eating the wires on my trailers. I can't leave Christmas lights out either. Went through the trouble of finding good bearings like you also. Ended up having to get bearings and races from Napa.
