No looks much better. The old one was ugly as hell. I wouldn't been seen in the same zip code with the old one. I agree, looks much like the Ranger which is a nice looking machine.
Likely the same exact platform as the Big Red, but innovative up top with the 4 seats that convert to a a 2 seater with pickup style bed.
Not being a Polaris apoligist, they have a well earned reputation, however my XP is the best machine I've ever owned (there - I jinxed it, it's sure to fall apart now). Honestly, it's not even close. This machine takes the rough terrain and delivers smiles. I've ridden it more than any other in the course of a year and hard, and it just keeps giving. Of course it is only a year old, so due to fail any day now.
The good thing is Polaris has upped it's effort toward reliability and competition of good vehicles out there is a very good thing.
Glad to see Honda shape up a little. Still not sure if this is a viable trail machine. A good option perhaps for a family that has some land that wishes to work their land and trail ride some. I suspect it won't be exciting on the trails, however surely will represent Honda reliability.
