Radio Radio Radio, Ready to update my Hand Held

I was looking through the forum for anything new on radios; I still use handheld but looking on updating to a mounted unit. What is a reasonable unit to look at from 90.00 to 125.00? Was looking at this:

I want to listen to the wife's handheld when she talks on one channel and you guys on another.

Radiodity radios are fine. Works well. I got the DB20 but would get the 25 or stronger if buying again. I purchased 20 since it had cigarette lighter adapter - I wanted quick removal or replacement.

We use TYT TH8600 waterproof Dual Band 25W Mobile Radio, work well so far, can get them off eBay for $120-130.

The waterproof TYT TH8600 is what I have as well. However, the GMRS channels are not automatically installed on them. You either ask the seller to program GMRS channels or buy the software to program it yourself. If you want a mic and speakers in your helmet, you can buy them from Rugged Radio.

Tim, I bought one off of SxS Radios - a link that Tyler put on our site. It's the TYT8600 25w. It was a package, I believe, that included the antenna. I did add a remote speaker that I mounted under the roof - above my head. This seller programs the GMRS stations, so it came ready to use once installed. Works great! I

They have an input where I can hear from the radio into my helmet using the speakers for the BT. I plan on getting the radio and using the 2.5mm plug in the back to run to my helmet. When necessary talk using the handset mike.
