Rather than make a loop this time, we will be riding the Western part of the Arizona Peace trail. For the most part, there are more interesting things to see in this area.

Larry, I have heard some Tyler stories about him fixing things on the trail with JB weld. I've been meaning to add that to my rear bag! Didn't see TP on your list. Is that what the flushable wipes are for? Hope you all have fun, wish I could make it.

Reaaly? JB Weld? Wish you could make it too. Flushable wipes are easier to pack.

Tyler can build almost any part of engine with JB weld. He formed a water pump cover that got Wiley back 40 miles to hotel. That’s a part that holds pressure.
I saw flushable wipes being passed around on my last ride. The day before was a ride to Ole Jose’s. The next day going to Sophia the flushable wipes were being passed around til noon. Nobody wanted dry. Lol.

White rags = flushable wipes that are dry and more foldable
Lol

I fixed the truck drivers clutch handle on his motorcycle on our first trip to the paiute with it. Cut pieces of a coat hanger and put them on the sides of the two pieces and used JB to encase them, he rode the rest of the week.

2022 Arizona Trip Day 1 On Day 1 (Tuesday, March 22, 2022), we intend to ride the Chloride Loop. There are no gas stations or food along this route so make sure you have a full gas tank and bring a sandwich. Also bring plenty of water/drinks. This area is a very dry environment. Total miles is approximately 103 miles. We'll initially travel West from Kingman and then go North to Chloride, AZ. Highlights are rock art/murals, starkly dry desert trails, the Burns Ranch ruins, and the Secret Pass. On Day 2, we will travel further West to Bullhead City, AZ. Day 1 tracks and waypoints are attached. Attachments:2022AZDay1.gpx (130.98 KB)

2022 Arizona trip Day 2 On Day 2 we will travel from Kingman, AZ to Bullhead City, AZ. Approximate miles is 93 miles. I obtained these tracks from a Jeep OHV website. I have never personally ridden this trail. The primary track is in red. If we run into problems, an alternate track is in yellow. Highlights are the Tyro Mine area, a Dam north of Bullhead City, and the Slot Canyon and Waterfall. Bring food and drinks. We'll get gas in Bullhead and spend the night there. The Day 2 tracks and waypoints are attached. Attachments:2022AZDay2.gpx (140.74 KB)

2022 Arizona Trip Day 3 On Day 3 we will travel from Bullhead City to Lake Havasu City. Approximate mileage is 78 miles, but I suspect Chris and Shana M may have tracks we want to take after we arrive in Lake Havasu. Highlights are Golden Shores, BNSF Railroad Trestle, Topock 66, and London Bridge. Day 3 tracks and waypoints are attached. Attachments:2022AZDay3.gpx (154.06 KB)

2022 Arizona Trip Day 4 Day 4 will be our longest mileage day - 177 miles. Our halfway point will Maggie Wash, a long canyon that is just barely wide enough for a SxS. Along the way we'll check out Rudy's Tank Old Cattle Roundup, Woody's Cabin, and an Old Stuck Bus. We'll get gas and food at Wayside Oasis RV Park Bar & Grill. Just in case Wayside is out of gas, everyone should carry 5 gallons of gas so we can get back. After Wayside, we'll head further south and check out an Animal Water Station, a Painted Water Tank, and Camp Bouse. We'll spend the night in Quartzsite. Attached are Day 4 tracks and waypoints. 2022 Arizona Trip Day 5 On Day 5, we'll leave out of Quartzsite and head further South. This will be the most southern route of our trip. If you look at the map, you'll notice a small loop and then a larger loop. If we just do the small loop, our trip this day will be 125 miles. If you want to do the larger loop, our trip will be 71 more miles for a total of 196 mile. We'll take a vote when we get there and decide what to do. Highlights are Halsey Mine, Indian Corn Grinding Holes, and Planet Ranch. We'll spend the night in Lake Havasu again. Attached are tracks and waypoints. Attachments:2022AZDay5.gpx (441.42 KB)
