Charlie and Carver - I am planning on going with Larry on this trip. We are thinking mid to late august starting out in Salmon Idaho. We will do some more research and set dates after Larry returns from the Arizona trip.

Hey Lonnie, what's your idea of later? Only ask because I think this trip only has a small window of opportunity due snow hanging around till late May into June. Ideal time will probably be July or August.

July and August is the time frame I am thinking, Vivian is doing great and should be way done with healing by then so as long as I have the funds to go I will be in.

Just wanted to clarify, I'm in assuming I can find someone to ride with. I don't have a truck or 2-place trailer. If someone's got a truck, looks like we can borrow either Larry's or Tom's trailer.

I have attached a document that was sent to me by the YouTube author of the “Circling the Frank” video. This document goes into detail on places where they stayed and sites to see along the way. Instead of campgrounds, we will be staying in real beds at nearby cabins and motels. If you want to stay at a campground, you are certainly welcome to do so. In this document, we are combining days 3 and 4 into a one day segment. If you can’t read the attached Word document, let me know and I will send it in another form. |

You guys have a great trip and find all the kinks in planning. This trip interferes with a fishing trip to Wyoming so I will pass this time. I hate it when vacations conflict .

Slight change in lodging in Yellow Pines. Yellow Pines is the town we'll be staying in at the end of Day 4 of our Idaho trip. Tom has been unable to reach the proprietor at Alpine Lodge, so we'll be staying at Yellow Pines Lodge 208-633-3377 instead. Tom has already made reservations for everyone...2 rooms with three beds each. Tom has updated the Idaho Dates Calendar and I have updated the Circling the Frank Tracks & Waypoints GPX file. I have been monitoring the fire incidents in Idaho along our route. There is a large fire between Elk City and Riggins. This is Day 3 of our trip.
