We stop for gas frequently at convenient type stores, I'm just carrying a 6 pack cooler. Longest stretch will be Tues of 91 fast miles.

I said I wouldn't but I did. I made a few minor additions to the map. I added: The track we will take from Wikieup to Maggie Wash Slot Canyon on the way to Alamo Lake. Some tracks SW of Quartzsite and the tracks to the Tungsten Mine NW of Quartzsite in case anyone wanted to do a night ride. Shortcut to Topock66 that is 20 miles north of Havasu. Google Topock66 The Orux/Garmin, BCN, and GPX files can be downloaded at the link below. If you use BCN you will need to download an offline map. I recommend "Open Cycle by Thunderforest" it was free when I downloaded but it now cost $8. AZPT Map Links

I’ll be in OKC Wednesday night, not sure if I’ll be leaving there Thursday night, or Friday yet. I am bringing junior with me. She wants to drive the buggy in the desert.

Alamo Lake is looking good. Link below will take you to USGS Lake water level. Look at April 1st of 2020, that's when we were there last year. Anything below 1,125 is passable. Alamo Lake water level

Alamo Lake water levelThe river crossing we did make was sketchy. I don’t remember who the heck went first. We crossed at Planet Ranch and it was closed on the way back up and we had to take hwy85 (it had a bridge over the river) from Parker to Havasu. With my smaller tires I was definitely being pushed downstream.

I can't make this trip, but is the terrain too tough for an atv. I assume it would not be problem except for a few spots. Enjoy the trip and look forward to some pictures and stories at the campfire.

The SxSs for Doc Best, Coop, and me are on their way to Kingman. A car shipping company picked them up yesterday. They will arrive on Saturday, March 6. We will fly into Las Vegas on Friday, March 5th. We'll do a tour of Hoover Dam, then travel 109 miles to Kingman and await the arrival of our machines. On Saturday, we will ride our SxSs on trails to the North of Kingman and visit some sites.

We have another rider going. Adam Rogers of Sedona is going to ride with us. I met him on the AZPT FB Group. He has rooms everywhere except Salome where he might camp or sleep on my floor. I am sending him the forum link. Lindsey has talked to him regarding Ride Command.
