Come on Nelson and anyone else, this is going to be an epic adventure. It might surpass Mom's Attic. Cottonwood Pass in the middle of the night after being up for 50 hours straight was EPIC!

I’m not going to be able to make this one. Sorry but too much to do to be able to leave for a week at that time.

I am interested, no one knows me, but I found out about your group planning this trip on the rzrforums. Got a 2019 XP4 Turbo S and going to try and get my vacation schedule swapped to join you from Washington. Is the for sure date going to be 3/29-4/4? and on the AZPT Motel Choices spreadsheet, are the green highlighted motels the first choice of places to stay?

Nate, welcome. The dates are for sure. The motels are about 95%. We won't get motels for probably another week or two. Do you have a license plate? Send me an email so we have your email and can include you in emails about the ride.

Nelson you need to come. Invite Jeff to join you. Since he’s up to 8 or more restaurants he needs the week off. I doubt Jeff would come, but I'll ask him. He does have a truck and trailer capable of hauling two SxSs out, but knowing him he'd want to fly and rent if he went. You guys would all like him. I'll send him the link, but like I said, I don't think he'll do it. I'd like to go with my SxS, but don't want to go it alone with my Jeep towing the single machine; and it won't tow 2.

I emailed a link to Jeff regarding he AZPT trip; we'll see. I can stay flexible for a bit to see if anyone else shows interest in going and driving out - no big deal; I wasn't implying Allen before.

Looks to me like Dual Sport motorcycles don’t need OHV decal. Decals are for vehicles primarily for use over unimproved terrain. Dual Sports are sold with primarily street tires so no issue. Found more info on AZ govt sites and it specifically references dual sports as being primarily for improved terrain or roads. Great - $30 saved. No sticker is needed on vehicles primarily designed for roads since they pay higher taxes.

The $30 you saved you will spend on butt creme.

I have started a sheet for us to list what stuff we are bringing. Nate and I have filled it out. Nate has a 4 seater so he can carry more than the rest of us. If Larry does not have a jack I can bring one. The Motorcycle guys need to let us know what they want us to carry. I don't think we need big coolers since every town will have food and drinks. Stuff to Bring
