I've gone skinny tired. After loosing a dz tires on my rear to maybe 3 on front I have decided to go 9" wide all around. My theory is that my rear tires hung over the 7" rims by too much thus causing pinch flats or sidewall rips. The narrower are lighter so they should be faster. Attachments:

Oh yea -- skinny jeans and tight tank tops too. I'm just interested in seeing if the skinny tires reduces the tire heck I have been through. I blame the dirt tamers but never had an issue with them before. I run in 4wd all of the time so the grip reduction does not bother me. It should turn quicker since the rear will have less tire to slip in turns. We will see. I will make sure I'm as gentle on these as I have been on all of the others. Funny thing is I have another new 9" tire and debated putting it on as the spare. Decided not to since my spare has been bullet proof even though it seeps slime out of a small sidewall hole. You can see the wet slit in the bottom of the picture. It's leaking but stays at 15psi. Amazing. Ive used that tire five times without issue and never add air. It also has 3000+ miles on it and I think a couple of plugs.

Just curious, do you put the 9" inch wide tire on the same rim? Or narrower rims too?

Those look nice Ken, what brand/model are they? I see you got your new rear high radius bars on also. They're the Rage Storm's. Went with all 5 @ 27x9x12. They seem to get pretty good reviews and their cheap enough that if they suck I won't feel so bad. Now gotta find somewhere that will mount them...

Good choice David. If I was to do it again I would be 14 or 15 inch rims. Probably 15 so I can run truck tires.

Tyler's comment is funny. We all know you don't tow a Rzr. You go get the truck so you can load it up to get it out. Rzrs break such they can't be towed.
