Two propanes might work. I think you will need to secure the swing arm and put a pipe inside the bearing hole and twist it. Remove the bearing. I don;t see how hammering will work, it is twisted. Get Larry to build you one of those benches and just bring it to hilltop and we burn the bench and you throw your part in fire. That last bench got hotter than propane.

That's good thinkin Allen. Burning that bench was great and the bourbon in Beer bottle was wicked. It definitely would be the perfect temp for straightening a trailing arm.
And yes you can put a price on fun. Unfortunately it's high. I really liked the hauling azz and off camber stuff last weekend but it's lots of wear and tear. Big smiles and $$$ per mile.

I was thinking the same thing. Bearing was shot also in the front mount, I took it out and have a pipe that fits perfect. I can get some good leverage pushing and pulling with the pipe and think it should twist it back straight. I'll run out tomorrow and get a separate propane torch and give it a try. I'll also cool it in the oil and try that. Thanks all for the great info

Probably better quality than the OEM one!

The end looks like a forging which is surprising. It has reached the yield stress, so it is now compromised. You can put it back with heat( provided you can take that joint out, can you?)but it will be weaker. You have now changed the sn curve and when it does go it will snap. I'm guessing they used a forging there specifically for the cyclical loads.

Tyler made that more complicated. He even used the term "sn curve" and "compromised". That sounds bad. Now I'm curious - what you gonna do?

I order new one, propane torches didn't even phase it. All it did was stink up my garage with burnt powder coat smoke.

If you gonna follow randy very much you need to order twoThat's not right - my trailing arms are fine. My rear axles and bearings are not -- new ordered today. I need better quality since the last ones lasted 400 miles.

If you gonna follow randy very much you need to order two . Following Randy is like smoking cigarettes , I know I shouldn't do it and sooner or later it's going to come back and bite me but I just can't help myself!!

Sometimes it's more fun to ride fast than to just be bored. If it's just a few hundred $$ in repairs occasionally then it's worth it.
I saw the post on rzrforums for trailing arms. Looks like you had a good offer. Hopefully you can find a good shock reasonable also...

It doesn't matter what sport or activity it is . The harder you play the more you pay. The old saying is is if you don't want to play with the "big dogs" stay on the porch". They say my money pit is ready to pick up at ridenever.

Take a pic of it when you get it Allen. I'm sure Ridenow has polished it up.
