The high beam has burned out on one headlight. The light has a rubber back cover and an inner rubber cover that I cannot get off. Has anyone changed the bulb on a Yamaha set up like this?

The book says "remove bulb cover" but not how. I think it will rip if I force it. I cannot find a release tab etc.

On mine you just twist the bulb socket CC about 30 degrees. Mine are the same as are in a car.

I know the rubber cover David talks about. My rhino had same cover and it was a pain. I don't remember how to remove it. I do know it seals water out.

I got the inner rubber cover off. The bulb is backordered a month at rockymountainatv.

Take the bulb up to one of the auto parts stores they should be able to find a match.

Good idea, I will try Napa or Advance. I should have tried that. I got a spare key by taking the original to a lock shop. It uses a Nissan blank.

Napa and Advance do not carry the same size bulbs. I found them on Amazon.com for $7 and got it in 2 days while Rockymountainatv still had one month+ backorder at $17 ea.
