Nice pics and good location. How long is yours, ours is 37'. Did it look like our extra length would make it every where? Boy you guys built that deck fast!!!!
Looks like you're close enough to be neighbors but not close enough to bring the neighborhood down.

Looks like you're close enough to be neighbors but not close enough to bring the neighborhood down. Mines only 29 feet....yours is LONG. We were looking at it this weekend and you might have to hook it to a shorter vehicle to get it situated once its up there. Lonnie's truck is just so long and it doest turn tight at all so even maneuvering mine in presented some challenges. As for my spot, it turned out really nice. Far enough away that I don't have to hear you guys snoring but close enough that I can still hit your trailer with my empty beer bottles!

Nice to meet you this weekend Ken! The camper and spot look great. I hate we couldn't hook up the ride Saturday, but the rain was pretty intense until about 10 or so. Matt and I had a great ride and clocked over 100 miles. Looking forward to meeting up again.

The rain on Sat. morning had us getting a late start too, but as you know, it turned out to be a great day after it cleared up. I think we logged somewhere around 65 or 70 miles. Sunday on the other hand turned out to be a total washout. Good luck with that new Commander. It sure is pretty. Kind of makes me want one again, but don't think I could sneak that one by the Boss. She usually doesn't notice much about what I've got going on out in the garage, but if I stuck one of those in there there's a good chance I'd wind up sleeping next to it for a while! See ya up there again soon!

Hate that I missed Saturday's ride and shooting fun but was glad I got to Hilltop for the Friday ride.
Ken's got a great spot. Now he's just waiting on Hilltop to install his full utilities.

I thought I saw your atv on the trailer Randy. When Jake and I got up there the rest of the groupl had gone. Sounded like we only missed hooking up by a few minutes. Anyway, it was probably just as well since it sounded like y'all were going to do some exploring....might not have been too easy with the SxS's. As Jake mentioned we got some miles in and rarely saw anyone on the trail. We ran H/M for a while then linked into the Outlaw trails at Tiny's and went to Welch and back. Ate dinner at the Sterling Drive Inn and navigated back mostly in the dark. Great ride and I believe I had 112 miles in the 2 days. As mentioned, Sunday was a total washout, but Saturdays weather was perfect riding conditions in my estimation...a few rain showers to keep the dust down and bright sunny skies in between. Beautiful!
Ken, your spot turned out great! Your camper is nice and clean as well too!

Clean for now -- it won't be long before Kens trailer gets covered in Hilltop funk like the rest of ours -- lol

Finally got my Internet back up and running so now I can post. Every time i think about selling the Dodge I have to use it to pull something and I realize how stupid I would be to sell. Several times I had to look back just to see if it was still there. I may be bragging but I swear the motor in this truck is a pure beast. Never even grunts. Great weekend and good times are always had at H/T.

Lonnie's truck will never hit the million mile mark. I don't think he has 70k yet. The 5.9 is a great diesel.

Randy, getting ready to turn 80,000. The trip to Utah helped out a lot.

80000/8 = 10k miles a year. 1,000,000/10,000 = 100 yrs. If that Dodge is still running in 2104 I wonder who will be driving it? Lonnie's Great Great Great Great Grandson??? Heck it would cost $10,000 to fill the tank then if diesel is still available... Actually if Lonnie ever needs a job he should call Bill Plemmons RV and get on the list of pullers. He has the truck already. He also is definitely qualified. He turned that 29' trailer into Prosperity School Rd like it was hardly a turn. I've seen Fords take 2 shots at that curve to make it.... Now can he make a 37' trailer turn that curve without backing up?

Looks close to me. That one pic shows your taillight hidden by the front of the trailer. It's the pic that shows the raod sign very clear. You will know when it's too tight of turn -- the trailer will bump the truck. I did that several times with my Dodge and Toyhauler. Irritated me both times. Luckily NC State stickers cover the dents and make the truck look better....
I've got some NC State stickers if your Dodge needs em.... LOL
