I agree. Type something up. We know Jay got stuck in Soggy Bottoms but that's no surprise. I heard 140 miles was the total but what else happened??

Friday Jay, Adam Hanes, and myself left Jay's house at 9:10 pulled into walmart in bluefeild @ 1115 because when you don't ride but once every 2 years you forget thing you are spose to bring with ya. So when we got done at Walmart, we decided to grab lunch before we headed on up to hilltop. so it was about 2 when we got to the camper, Lonnie and Doc Best had already left to go on a ride before we got there ( of course we said we would be there by lunch time and we were a lil late) .So we unloaded and the 3 of us took off for a ride. Well about 45 mins into the ride Jay takes off through a mud hole down on soggy bottoms and gets hung up and stuck (#1), well his ride cut off and couldn't get to start up and he was too far into the hole to get a tow strap on his ride to pull him out so we had to winch him out witch killed his battery. So when he was out of the hole ride wouldn't start because of the battery none of us had jumper cables (again not ride in almost 2 yrs you forget things) So Adam hooks up to him and we start pulling him out. While we were on the gravel road we passed a couple guys in a truck that had some jumper cables and got the old Rubicon fired back up and running . By this time it was about 6ish so we decided to go ahead and head back to camp.
Sat Lonnie, Doc Best, Tressa R , Jay , Adam , Ken k and myself left camp around 930ish ( w/ Lonnie's rule for Jay if you get stuck more than twice he was going to leave him in the mud ) We decided that we would go do some exploring down in Montcalm and see what we could find. It was a great day of riding when up some kinda goat path that was pretty cool. Made a left turn off a dirt road and ended up on HM trail 80 so we made short cut through the Hatfield trails Back toward hilltop. were Jay over heated 3 times before we made to KOA .
Sun Lonnie, Doc Best , Jay , Adam and myself decided we would do a short ride Via the Gopher trail , soggy bottoms, by the mini stair steps, then we found a trail that we had not rode in like 4-5 years , then down to sandy bottoms were Jay found a resting spot in a hole (#2) and When Lonnie went to pull him out he was having a lil trouble getting traction so he coated jay with mud . Then I was like let me show jay how to do this and i took off and hit the hole really hard and came with in 1 foot of making it to the end but never the less i was stuck and had to get pulled out. Then we decided it was time to be heading back so we could get home. As we were coming up behind the stair steps we seen a wild goat on the trail. From there we made it back to camp cleaned up , cleaned the campers up and headed down the mt. Got home around 10 pm.
So for those keeping score Jay stuck 2 times Jay overheated 3 times Me stuck 1 time Lonnie kinda stuck 1 time
All in all it was a great weekend couldn't have ask for better weather. Great ride with good friends.

Darryl and Ken said it well. Good color, great ride with good friends. There were 4 guys in a toy hauler from Sanford NC who shared the campfire with us and had their own peach shine. They were thrilled with the Colorado video and pics. I think they want to join up.
