I always heard those 6.0s being called the OH NO 6.0!!! I also heard that the emission crap that is on them is allot of the issues. The heavy duty commercial grade vehicles do not have as many issues as the everyday vehicles.

Wow, tough commute. Got the coach and trailer back yet? What ended up being the problem?....injector? 2 injectors Looks like it took the " Trade soon tow " Sorry to hear about the rig Ken , but glad to see you guys pushed on , the pictures are noting but awsome . Several of those pictures alone would be on my wall at the house as a " I did that " . I have not gone on these rides trying to get the machine that could do it , and have the truck to haul ETC ..... I am glad you guys have done these trips , it truly is inspiring to where this small club in NC can go , thanks for sharing your pictures and experinces , it really makes me jealous , I hope to do one of these rides with you guys soon .

Michael and I left Thursday afternoon about 7:30 PM and arrived at Taylor Park Friday evening about 12:30 AM Eastern Time. About 28 hours of driving that include stops for gas only. My new Polaris was broke in properly in around 600 miles on it now. Michael rode Wiley's 450 Yamaha machine with only one roll over and a broke cargo box. Michael was not hurt, just a twisted leg that hurt him for a day. Over all a very successfull trip for us. We left Friday afternoon, stay with family in Canon CIty, CO on Friday night and home Sunday afternoon. This picture is of the group over Devis Pass/trail This picture is Michael and I at an old pump station near on old mind. The building in the background is suppose to be the most photograghed building in CO.

Ski lift on the Aspen slopes Video of us driving through the town of Aspen. This was weird to drive by fancy shops, cars, and well dressed people with an ATV, nothing like WV Wiley, on the pass that goes to Aspen. I most more pictures in Photo bucket under the TTB Taylor Park link

On the way home Kevin and I spent a few hours in the Cabelas store near Kansas city. Wow what a place! They must have 500 whole mounts of every game animal on earth. It was better than the museum of natural history.

I'm jealous David. One of these days I'll stop by a Cabelas. I;ve been told they make Bass Pro Shops look like a small store.

Cabelas was about 5 times the size of Bass Pro and had a good grill upstairs. I had the Bisonburger but could have had elk!

I think I'm finally getting over the ride home so I'll give my take on the trip. It was a great trip and would love to go back some day. The biggest thing I noticed was no "TRASH" anywhere. Not on the trials, side of the roads or in the park where we stayed. NC could learn something from Colorado. Where we going on our next trip.

I had a great time in Colorado and I would be game for going back again, but Utah definitely would be my first choice. Utah, October 2011......Book it Dan'O
