That 900 killed it. It should since X3 is a superior platform.

I like everything about my first gen Maverick except the noise. Riding with earplugs this past weekend really helped.

The noise doesn’t bother me but helmet helps. All SxS are loud. You can insulate center console or order a cover from Troy on Maverick Forums.

Yea I've already done my console and roof with Dynaliner as well as a Troy's cover. This past weekend was my first with the Troy's cover, it helps but not as much as I had hoped. This was also my first weekend with the windshield, I think that contributed to the sound. One thing I have not done yet is use the pipe insulator on the shifter. One member on the Maverick forums mentioned that helps with the sound as well. I'm in the process of tearing mine down so I'm going to check my header pipes and re-wrap them if they're in good shape. I'll do the pipe insulator as well and go from there.

Wow. You have done a lot. Not sure you will get much additional reduction.
