I posted on the Commander Forum about hauling sideways with a width of 118". One guy responded that the got stopped, didn't get a ticket, but had to fix the width before they could continue. They basically said don't do it. They recommended taking the dump bed off and maybe the front bumper, less than an hours work. Also my RZR is longer than 102", we should take our front plastic bumper off. I don't know what Randy can do.

Why you searching on Commander forums Bob? You can disassemble a Commander but I'm not too worried about my XP sideways. I will remove front bumper but leave rear since I want to be able to mount the spare when I get there. I'm around 109 inches in the middle -- it's narrower on the edges - much closer to 103". Lonnie's mirrors are probably 110' or more extended -- his dually alone is 95.5" wide. This has been discussed on Rzrforum many times and it is an extremely rare case anyone is stopped with SxS's for width. The general consensus is drive with traffic and it's not a big deal. I could always remove the rear bed and bumpers but that ain't worth the trouble. There are many people with many trips hauling rzr's sideways and no issues. Some even got speeding tickets but no mention of rzr sideways. Heck -- most RV's and Travel trailers going down the road are 102" before awnings or ladders are added. If you see a Toyhauler with a side ladder you can count on it being 110" or more. My Wolfpack had a sideladder and I left it off. www.rzrforums.net/tow-rigs-trailers-camping/68456-best-size-flat-bed-2-rzrs.htmlwww.rzrforums.net/glamis-sand-dunes-general/18271-will-i-get-busted-going-glamis-3.html

Lonnie has the shortest one but he would get the ticket. I don't believe we will have a problem.

Allen just said Lonnie has the shortest one. Funny stuff.
Seriously I ain't too worried about being pulled. If it did happen I'll pay the fine and make mine shorter than 102". The risk of that is .00001%.

Spot still there but trailer gettin smaller every day , all I see going on it comfortable is three rzrs sideways on one monster camander of Larry's going on long ways. And Lonnie's short one in bed of truck.

Hot and Humid. The toilet seat was on when I checked in.
I hope we don't have to put an atv in Lonnie's truck bed. That area is needed for sleeping. Four men will be a tight fit in the truck. We need to carry 3 Rzrs, an Ace, an Atv, and now a commander correct?
So after today's work session is the trailer done?

We don't think Kevin L is going so we don't have the ATV any more. Thinking we can put the Commander length wise. Allen has a little more fab work on the trailer. I will go back soon and install the backup lights and add turn signals half way down the side.

If Kevin L is not going then we are good without using the back of Lonnie's truck. The commander has probably 16" of rear or 12" of front overhang that can extend past trailer length. Heck the Commander can always be converted to a 95" long speed machine. Fewer machines is driving up the cost. I will go on uship and see if I can find some sideloads. Lol Attachments:

To get all these machines on it I'm going to have to tie it to two trees and stretch it about six more feet to thirty five.
