Country Roads Rt1 Box 143 Matoaka WV 24736.
They will be having a grand opening Saturday April 3rd with Free Beer,drinks and food all day long that day. Beginning March 19th they will have rooms ready to rent out with one queen size bed for $30 a night and ones with 2 queen beds for $60.There will be 3 full bathrooms with showers and tubs in them. They will be putting a store in also but it wont be open until the Grand Opening. They are also putting in a phone with unlimited calls. They will also have one big room with a big flat screen tv and satellite. They have 12 rooms and by June the Campground will be ready for business with full hook ups and tent sites will also be available. On the rooms the price will be per room not per person as most places charge.

Is this in the same area that David B. is taking everyone? The name of the area sounds familiar. No, this is the same area most of us ride. Hilltop, Wagon Wheel, its all the same area. Montcalm is a little less of a drive so if it turns out decent this could be a good place for us.

OK, that makes sense now. I recall seeing Matoaka on my GPS map while driving up there (my first and only time up to WV). Gotta check it out.

I believe they are talking about the Blue concrete block building not far from Coop's. David and I stayed there and it was OK. Very nice people, you can lock your ATV up in their basement and they have a pretty big grocery store. The only issue I saw was that it is not near where we normally ride. If you want to ride the Barkers Creek area it is a good place to stay.

Bobby loves to ride Barkers creek. Loves to take guys like me when they have brand new unscratched machines there to indoctrinate them and break them in.....lol. There are some tight trails there for 64" wide SxS's!
