I saw someone had posted this in our photobucket album. Anyone know much about it?

I attached it in Photbucket. It was being discussed on WVSxSRiders. It's the new Arctic Cat 1000HO Prowler Sport. It was shown at the dealer show this week.
Details told to dealers: 1000cc HO -- approx 90 to 100hp Power Steering Class leading Ground Clearance and Suspension Travel Priced below Popo 900XP
Arctic Cat needs this since their sales are tanking. I'm betting this is the first 80mph capable stock SxS. Arctic Cat supposedly will advertise this one with capabilities to take the lead in the SxS sport segment.
I have looked for more details on ArcticChat but the dealers so not have a firm delivery yet.

I can't imagine Polaris selling too many of the new RZR XP's in this economy. I could be wrong though. If this one is not significantly less than the XP, it will struggle too.
A four seater might sell better because you may only have to buy one off road vehicle vs several atv's or a couple 2 seater sxs's for your family.
The hole keeps getting deeper for Yamaha......and even when Honda put the Big Red out, it was already out dated and under performing.
I might have to look at one of these when they hit the market though. Wouldn't buy one for a few years anyway though.....have to figure out what bugs it might have and for them to hit the used market.

latest update on Arctic Chat is the name is Wildcat. It's my understanding that there will be 3 models with the pictured one being the top model.
Comment from a dealer: The machine you see in the videos is very close to production. The marketing supply guys might try to change a couple little things, but other than that, you are looking at a very near production machine.
64 inches wide, 16-17 inches wheel travel, 95+hp, steering box and tie rods are front design ( in front of a-arms for strength),tube chassis, doors, reserviour shocks and more....
As for release, you can look for orders to be opened up after the dealer show in August, with deliveries being from October to January. MSRP will be very close to $15,900. Less than the RZR XP900. Arctic Cat knew very well about the XP last year and built this machine to annihilate it....

I wonder if Can Am will put out a little racier version kind of like the Renegade to the Outlander now. I know one version is supposed to be racier already but their power plant is solid, it just sounds like they need to work on the handling some. Personally I'd be happy if they just morphed it into a 4 seater. And don't get me wrong, I'd definitely test the RZR4 and whatever other factory 4 seater hit the market before deciding. Leave it bone stock (except for maybe wheels and tires) and ride the heck out of it. The stock power at this point should be sufficient. Bone stock.....meaning powerwise. Of course wheels and half windsheld, etc would be necessary.
