The group was Bob T, Carver O , Bill J, and I. Fri was a late arrival in the rain. Sat was a 90 mi round trip to Welch. Sunny till 1 P then rain and mud. The creek trail has one crossing which is more rutted than before. The creeks were as high as I have ever crossed. We stopped on the way back to watch a group winch up the rutted area with one machine piggybacked on another because of a broken tie rod. When we got to the top of the stairsteps there were 4 guys holding a new Griz on the hillside 20 feet below the guardrail. We offered to help and passed them a winch hook from the road under the guardrail so they could get the Griz up enough to traverse the hill. These guys were a piece of work. No helmets, they said "we had did this yest and hit the rock at the top so we tried it diff this time".

Sounds like fun and everyone home safe.
I wish I could have been there. High water and all.
No real damage to the house, just a mess after the storm.

Darn, You could have come! It was a good ride even with the rain. It never really rained hard. We just buttoned up and kept going. It was cool enough that it felt good. I took some video of the creek crossing but I don't know how to put it on the forum.

Go to Photobucket , sign in , create a folder for the ride ( lower left ) , when that folder show up empty , over where you choose Brouse click Video , it will give you one brouse link , select that and it will show you you compter files , search for the video and select it , it will show up on the photo bucket site , hit down load and it will pull it from your computer to Photobucket , when Down loaded , select the lowest code on the bar and copy and paste that to a Message window on the forum . Feel free to use mine to learn on how to down load to the forum if you need to .Drew
