Sorry guys!!! I was going to go with you guys but I didn't get home until 2am from Raleigh on Saturday night just in time for the clock to change to 3am!! So no way I could meet you guys at 8am. I did ride Brushy though about Noon and the trails were awesome. Let me know when you guys want to hit Brushy sometime.

Yea I'm definitely going to give brushy a try after the experience we had at CAW. Brushy's site says they require riding boots that go above the ankle, so I'm assuming you have to have full fledged riding boots to go there. Or would regular boot ssuffice?

One of the guys I was with wore working boots over the ankle and he didn't catch any flack from Richard or Vann. It's about safety and he will not let any tennis shoes be worn by anyone to ride. So riding boots are not required just something over the ankle.

Regular boots are OK at Brushy. I've never had any issues with Richard. He caters mostly to motocycles and sport quads and does not allow any deep lug tires (over 3/4" tread). Guess CAW explains why...

Nikki and I lova Brushy so we'll definitely post up when going there. I've gotta put my bike back together first, think I either got some trash in the low speed circuit jets or left fuel in it too long and it varnished inside clogging it up. Just waiting on my new stand to get here to finish it up.
