Well, all I can say is WOW! Great weekend. Weather was a little dicey on Friday but cleared up around mid-day on Saturday.

Saturday we rode 78+ miles........with a group of 22 riders! :o

I'm sure everyone else will chime in with more details and pictures but for now I'm too tired to write anything else. Being held hostage at the campfire by a rowdy band of Yahoo's 'till 4 AM will do that to a guy! ;)

Here are some pics to hold ya over until everyone else reports in! 8-)

Those of us who went to welch went about 115miles and didn't get back to camp till almost midnite.

I think I'm still trying to warm back up. And a big thanks to everyone who helped me avoid hypothermia and also a big thanks to larry for towing my ass through the woods.

Definitely a ride worthy of a 13 page/2345 view thread. Riding from 10 am to 12:30 am (14+ hrs) Saturday was a good day. There was a question about riding with so many but it was not an issue. The pace was fast enough to keep all entertained. Ken did a great job leading Saturday day and Bob did great that night on the way to Welch and back. The ride on Friday was great also since DarylM led us to many good mudholes. The weekend had plenty of good moments and stories to tell for some time!

Ken -- tell your Dad he is welcome back anytime. He did great on an ATV. He was good to ride and talk with.

Thanks to all that took pictures. It takes time and is appreciated. The ride just reminds me that I am glad I ran across the TTB!

We arrived Friday to KOA set up and talked around a good warm fire and funny BS , Matt H and Dwayne Y. are self entaining and hilararious to listen too ( Kim the peeing on Dwanyes wheels was staged , but looks real ) . Alarm went off Saturday Morning , jump up , watch the news on the flat screen , get dressed and join the others and off to the Coal Camp resturant ( not as good as before , but still very clean and quick ) . Met of with the rest at Hill top and off to the stair steps for some photo ops and a head count , 24 riders and 22 ATV and 1 side beside . At first the pace was a little off as we got the kinks worked out of the slinky and the occasional flat tire or loose cargo . Several bet were made that Micheal P would not see the night ( no front fender and we were hitting the creek trail ) . Radios helped to keep this Huge group together and belive several will have one on the next group ride as towards the end it was a group working well together . I am looking foward to doing that loop again and riding more of the Pinacale creek trail system . The KOA croud broke off early ( we wanted to read the message at the bottle of a bottle near a warm fire ) while the Hilltop croud went to welch . The KOA croud found the bottom of several bottles Saturday night till like 3 am which was even more evident the next morning . I say thanks to eveyone who made it cause you made this trip a very memorable one ( the very last one of the year ) . I have several Vids of all the riders as some point ( yea all of us ) . I give Michel P the frozen body part award , Dwane Y the most baggage award , followed closely by Michel B . Hit the simular pic in my photobucket to see the vid ...........

LOL!

The bike looks very familiar but I cant seem to place it. Must have been one of the young whipper snappers too busy mugging for the camera and not paying attention! :D :D

A great weekend, 107 miles Sat and 170 total for the weekend. Lonnie led us Sun and we found out what it means when the sign says "trail temporarily closed" We got caught in the rain ,fog and dark on the HM trails going back from KOA to HilltopSun night. Everything looks diff in the dark. It was a great initial weekend for the new Hilltop camper. Thanks for all the good setup work Randy. By the way it was 46 degrees this AM in the camper, a good sleeping temp! This was a big group and it worked well because of good comunication. Lets do it again.
